I’m Leandro Bordoni, an independent Executive Creative Director based in Madrid, working globally.

As a freelancer, I plug into your team to shape culture-led direction, build concepts and territories, and guide the work through to final shape, with a human process and a high bar.

For 16+ years I’ve helped brands and agencies turn messy inputs into clear direction and strong work, with culture and craft at the center. I plug in where it matters most, set a sharp point of view, build concepts and territories, and guide teams from first idea to final shape, keeping the process human and the bar high. 

Most recently, I spent almost three years at Matter, first as Executive Creative Director and then as Chief Creative Officer. I joined when we were five people and helped scale the agency to 30+, growing key businesses, leading global projects, and pushing the craft level across brand, campaign, social systems, and production. 

Along the way I helped develop sprint methodology to unlock direction fast and align stakeholders without losing depth. I’ve worked across networks and studios in Brazil and Spain, on global brands including Motorola, Nike, Renault, Deutsche Telekom, Netflix, Audi, Volkswagen, L’Oréal, Unilever, PepsiCo, Suave, Danone, Mastercard, Visa, Samsung, and more.

I’m also a DJ and a co-founder of Soundbaths Radio (@soundbathsradio). The project merges live radio with physical gatherings, placing the audience at the center of the musical experience and pushing forward the growing electronic scene in Madrid. I’m proud of having brought artists, both from the local and global scene, to the pool, bringing 90+ people every month to one of the best music events in the city.
